Trained in the Brazilian school on the beach break of Barra da Tijuca (Rio de Janeiro), Guilherme Tamega is, with no doubt, one of the best bodyboarders of the moment. With an exceptional number of victories, he was the first bodyboarder who has won a GOB world champion title in 1996. He has also won two other US Tours.
           100% prone rider with a powerful style, Tamega is also a really good free rider. Moreover, he likes big waves and you must classify him as an acrobatic rider, combining a lot of aerial moves. He is the leader of the new Brazilian generation and tries to do a lot to promote bodyboarding in his country.
