Eppo has been for a long time the star of the Manta bodyboard team and still today there is a board with his name that is produced by this brand. Eppo has been considered as the most aerial bodyboarder. He is also the symbol of the expansion of bodyboarding on Australian beaches, which were reserved only for the surfer. Thanks to him, the bodyboarder is became the sport that we know today.

Really complete, he is one of the rare people that have defeated Mike Stewart in Pipeline and so has won a world champion title. But it must be known that Eppo is not a real competitor but much more a free rider. As a matter of fact, this is during free session that he shows all his creativeness. He built the foundations of modern bodyboarding thanks to his avant-gardist style and the moves, with for example the ARS, he invented.
           Today, Eppo has stopped competition but he still surfs. Moreover, he has opened a website that sell bodyboard products.
